Of course, women would never abuse anyone or anything if they happen to become unemployed. There are never any kids or animals smacked around. And of course, they don't get angrier when they're unemployed.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't condone abuse, nor am I saying abuse doesn't happen, and even that it don't happen more among unemployed men. What I am saying is that it sickens me that he is actually stooping to that sort of manipulation. He may as well have jumped on the "Do it for 'The Children™'" bandwagon. The trouble with that is that bandwagon is so old and tired the wheels have long ago fallen off.
