Good News Everybody!

Like most good news, this has nothing to do with the current administration.

By Andy Sullivan
Reuters

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Troubled Asset Relief Program, which risked up to $700 billion of government funds to bail out troubled banks and automakers, will cost taxpayers a mere $25 billion, according to an estimate released on Monday by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

Jeffersonian Quotes

Incorrect quote: “The tree of liberty must be watered periodically with the blood of tyrants.”

Correct quote: “The tree of liberty must be watered periodically with the blood of tyrants and patriots alike. It is its natural manure.”

If you're going to use a quote from Jefferson, don't decimate and change its meaning.

Too Funny (from Hot Air)

From The "Told You So" Department

Citing health overhaul, AARP hikes employee costs

WASHINGTON – AARP's endorsement helped secure passage of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul. Now the seniors' lobby is telling its employees their insurance costs will rise partly as a result of the law.

In an e-mail to employees, AARP says health care premiums will increase by 8 percent to 13 percent next year because of rapidly rising medical costs.
[...]
So I say again, how's that hopey-changey thing working out for all you suckers now?

Luckily for Obastard, P.T. Barnum was spot on. There is a sucker born every minute.

Gawd dam, people. Are you ever going to fucking wise up?

Thursday, November 04, 2010

Yes We Can

So Obastard is headed to India. Sweet.
That's probably where the jobs he talked about creating will be.

Well, Fuck

My fellow Clark County residents are a bunch of fucking idiots.
Most of the state of Nevada voted against Harry Reid, but with the huge population of mega-resort special interests [allegedly of course], service worker's unions [allegedly of course], and fucked up voting machines [again, allegedly of course], the bastard got re-elected.

I did my part. But to the rest of America, what can I say? Sorry.

The First Tuesday Of November

I am filled with both anticipation and dread.
Anticipation of at least knocking down to size some of the idiocy currently going on, but yet dreading that we still have two more years before we can vote on more 'change'.
I am giddy when I hear from the people who voted democrat last time that they aren't voting this time because "there is really no one I want in there...".
Good. Keep it that way. That gives people who really care about 'change' some leverage.

I was dumbfounded that people were stupid enough to vote that asshole into office in the first place. I am amazed people are still oblivious by the stupidity going on around them, and I can't believe anyone would be taken in and not charge treason or at least commence impeachment for the outright lies and bullshit being fed to the American public for the last two+ years.

But no matter who wins, I'll be happier than a pig in shit to not be subjected to those gawd-awful commercials until the next voting season rolls around.

I'm Jones

I spent the last few hours reading judicial reviews (we elect judges in Arizona) and I have all my paperwork ready for next Tuesday. I've done my research, pined some of my choices, and am ready to get my county back. This will be a good day for me and I'm willing to crawl to my polling place over miles of broken glass to ensure my vote is cast.

Reminder to liberals: You vote on Wednesday the 3rd.

Friday, October 22, 2010

I've Done My Part

I am but one voice in the state of Nevada, but my voice was heard yesterday at the early voting booth.

I won't disclose my selections as they're supposed to be MY choices and no one else's business, but suffice it to say I don't want any more of the 'change' our country has been subjected to in the last year and a half. I did my small part to peck away at the socialist regime now in place.

You're welcome.

Fucking You Over

No more love for retired 3M employees thanks to Obamacare.

"As you know, the recently enacted health care reform law has fundamentally changed the health care insurance market," the memo said. "Health care options in the marketplace have improved, and readily available individual insurance plans in the Medicare marketplace provide benefits more tailored to retirees' personal needs often at lower costs than what they pay for retiree medical coverage through 3M."

Nice spin.

Letter From The Queen

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars plus additional expenses for my vacation in Spain.

My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. We only booked 70 rooms for our friends, staff and family. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.

Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. It costs only $11,500 per hour to operate Air Force 2 and each additional plane for the other members of our party group. These are only rough estimates, but they are close (who's counting?). That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days. Will write more from Martha's Vineyard, after our weekend on the gulf coast, where we will spend our sixth vacation this year with more of our family and friends.

Cordially,
Queen, M. Obama

Why It's Not His Fault - Updated

Obviously, shit ain't gettin' no better. It's getting worse.
But it's not O-Asshole's fault, just ask him.

Step 1: Blame Bush. YES WE CAN!
Step 2: If step 1 fails, blame republican resistance to CHANGE!

Yeah, maybe bush was a moron. But like I said, shit ain't gettin' no better and democrats have had control of congress for how long now?

I've been seeing political ads for months already. The bulk of which is Harry Reid (D-umbshit NV) vs Sharon Angle - who is his republican competition. However, Labor Day weekend is pretty much the starting gun of the election season. They are indeed off and running. Pardon the pun.

I can hardly fucking wait. I'm guessing the 'Mute' button on the remote will be worn down to but a nub come November.

Update: I saw this 'toon on some random blog (sorry, I would give credit if I remembered where) and thought it most appropriate:

Michelle Malkin sez:
Harry Reid pulls out race card again, whacks himself in the head
I got some bad news for you folks. Unless something changes big, fast and hard here in NV in the next couple months, that asshole ain't going nowhere come November.
He has too many people in the state snowed and suckered to where they think he is some sort of fucking hero.

His competition has proven so far to be a dimwit - as far as the political competition goes, and has yet to display any sort of redeeming qualities or accomplishments.
No one in the state knows what her real platform is, what she personally stands for, or what she plans on doing when she's in office. Even her shitty mudslinging is backfiring on her.

So all I can say to America as a NV voter, is good luck this fall cleaning up some of the other shit scattered around this country.

I Will Gladly Pay You In 2014 For A Hamburger Today

Wha - huhhhh!?!?!?

I just love Obambi's latest $26B bailout approved by the house (by the way, that's $26,000,000,000) for 'state aid'.
Fuck that. Call a spade a spade. It's a teacher bailout.

Anyway, "Why?" you ask, do I love it? Because
The House has just approved President Obama’s $26 billion public-employee bailout by a vote of 247 to 161.
But they are of course, union jobs and
"...When their leaders call, I do my best to call them back right away. I don’t mind feeling obligated.”
Says Obambi.

So, you reckon the unions are going to by chance pay that back when all this shit is over with? I mean, they didn't really need it in the first place, right?
Right.

No Doubt

Via email:
Dear Abby,

I am a crack dealer in Beaumont, Texas, who has recently been diagnosed as a carrier of HIV virus. My parents live in Fort Worth. One of my sisters lives in Pflugerville and is married to a heroin addict. My father and mother have recently been arrested for growing and selling marijuana, but should be released on probation next year. They are financially dependent on my other two sisters, who are prostitutes in Dallas. I have two brothers: One is currently serving a non-parole life sentence at Huntsville for the murder of a teenage boy in 1994. My other brother is currently in jail awaiting charges of sexual misconduct with his three children.

I have recently become engaged to marry a former prostitute who lives in Longview. She is a now part time "working girl".

All things considered, my problem is this. I love my fiancé and look forward to bringing her into the family. I certainly want to be totally open and honest with her. Should I tell her about my mentally challenged cousin who is an Obama supporter?

Signed,

First Wave

Link to full text.

In just six months, the largest tax hikes in the history of America will take effect. They will hit families and small businesses in three great waves on January 1, 2011:

First Wave: Expiration of 2001 and 2003 Tax Relief

In 2001 and 2003, the GOP Congress enacted several tax cuts for investors, small business owners, and families. These will all expire on January 1, 2011:

Personal income tax rates will rise. The top income tax rate will rise from 35 to 39.6 percent (this is also the rate at which two-thirds of small business profits are taxed). The lowest rate will rise from 10 to 15 percent. All the rates in between will also rise. Itemized deductions and personal exemptions will again phase out, which has the same mathematical effect as higher marginal tax rates. The full list of marginal rate hikes is below:

- The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15%
- The 25% bracket rises to 28%
- The 28% bracket rises to 31%
- The 33% bracket rises to 36%
- The 35% bracket rises to 39.6%

Higher taxes on marriage and family. The “marriage penalty” (narrower tax brackets for married couples) will return from the first dollar of income. The child tax credit will be cut in half from $1000 to $500 per child. The standard deduction will no longer be doubled for married couples relative to the single level. The dependent care and adoption tax credits will be cut.

The return of the Death Tax. This year, there is no death tax. For those dying on or after January 1 2011, there is a 55 percent top death tax rate on estates over $1 million. A person leaving behind two homes and a retirement account could easily pass along a death tax bill to their loved ones.

Higher tax rates on savers and investors. The capital gains tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 20 percent in 2011. The dividends tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 39.6 percent in 2011. These rates will rise another 3.8 percent in 2013.

Wait, What?

What's this:
House approves money for Afghan surge
I thought the plan was to bring the troops home. Don't tell me the asshole-in-chief is full of shit!

More Truth Than Bullshit

Barack Obama met with the Queen of England.

He asked her, "Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government? Are there any tips you can give to me?"

"Well," said the Queen, "the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people."

Obama frowned, and then asked, "But how do I know the people around me are really intelligent?"

The Queen took a sip of tea. "Oh, that's easy; you just ask them to answer an intelligent riddle." The Queen pushed a button on her intercom. "Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?"

Tony Blair walked into the room and said, "Yes, my Queen?"

The Queen smiled and said, "Answer me this please, Tony, your mother and father have a child. It is not your brother and it is not your sister. Who is it?"

Without pausing for a moment, Tony Blair answered, "That would be me."

"Yes! Very good," said the Queen.

Obama went back home to ask Joe Biden, his vice presidential choice the same question. "Joe, answer this for me. Your mother and your father have a child.
It's not your brother and it's not your sister. Who is it?"

"I'm not sure," said Biden. "Let me get back to you on that one.." He went to his advisors and asked every one, but none could give him an answer. Finally, he ended up in the men's room and recognized Colin Powell's shoes in the next stall.

Biden asked Powell, "Colin, can you answer this for me? Your mother and father have a child and it's not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"

Colin Powell yelled back, "That's easy, it's me!"

Biden smiled, and said, "Thanks!" Then, he went back to speak with Obama. "Say, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle. It is Colin Powell!"

Obama got up, stomped over to Biden, and angrily yelled into his face, "No! You idiot! It's Tony Blair!"

AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH OUR GOVERNMENT.

Updating the Lexicon

Let's do this and see if it sticks. Instead using the word "ass" use "Obama" unless it's meant in a good way.

Examples:

Don't be an ass = Don't be an Obama

You are a pain in the ass = You are a pain in my Obama

If I had a dog that looked like you I'd shave its ass and make it walk backwards = If I had a dog that looked like you I'd shave its Obama and make it walk backwards

Exceptions:

She has a really nice ass = She has a really nice ass

Fuck You, You Old Crackers

Obama seeks to 'reconnect...young people, African-Americans, Latinos, and women' for 2010
He knows who he has to cater to. The old white farts are the ones he's gone and pissed off. The ones who usually do the voting. The ones who will throw him and his cohorts the fuck out of the White House. And with any luck, these same people he is recruiting to vote for his ilk now will have woken up and realized the mistake they made.

I don't have a problem with minorities, women, teenagers, whoever, voting. As long as they know why they are voting for that person. I do have a problem with them voting blindly because of his skin color, or because of the "No more of the same" rhetoric that was floating around during the elections.

Headline Of The Century

This has to be the funniest headline I've read in years:
Obama: Washington Needs to Be More Like California
Yeah. Right. Pelosi must be just fucking beaming.
While I appreciate any shout-out to my home state, what California's Democratic elite are "about" is enabling their union backers to drive a once-thriving economy into a bottomless pit of unemployment, perennially busted budgets, and unfunded pension contributions that transcend most human comprehension. This is not a spirit Washington should try to "recapture," unless the goal is 12.6 percent unemployment (with a bullet!), a credit rating hurtling toward junk-bond status, and a perpetual round of bailouts from a faraway government entity.

-Matt Welch
Yup. That's just what this country needs. More Californication of America.

Your doing it wrong, Dear Leader.

"WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama quietly breached years of protocol on Saturday morning by leaving the White House without the press with him.

About an hour before reporters were supposed to be in position to leave with the president, Obama left the grounds of the White House. Members of the press were told he was attending one of his daughter's soccer games in northwest Washington, D.C."

I wonder where he really went.

A very sad day for the Polish people.

Via the Associated press.

A glance at some of the most prominent victims of the crash of Poland's presidential plane, according to the official passenger list, released by the president's office.
- Lech Kaczynski, 60. Poland's president, a nationalist conservative who had been in office since 2005. A founder of the Law and Justice party, now in opposition, and the twin brother of its leader, former Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski.
