Only 512,000 more people who ran shit out of luck last month. Unemployment was already at a seasonally-adjusted 9.8% in September [source: bls.gov/cps].
Update 11/6/2009 @ 8AM MST: This morning BLS is reporting a 10.2% unemployment rate
